Marlborough Tractor Services provides a comprehensive range of sales, service and parts for an agriculture and viticulture customer base.  A vacancy has arisen for a permanent, full-time Agriculture Machinery/Diesel Technician.  The successful applicant will be involved in the servicing and repair of machinery from leading brands and using the latest technology.  This role is both workshop and field based - flexibility and a valid drivers’ licence are a must. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate: competence and experience in all aspects of repair and maintenance including the overhaul of major components, fault diagnostics and preventative maintenance, attention to detail, pride in work, ability to work unsupervised, customer focus, a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude, communication skills.  NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit is required.

VITICULTURAL SALES & MARKETING SPECIALIST

Due to our ongoing commitment to Marlborough’s viticulture industry a vacancy has arisen for a full-time Viticulture Sales Specialist at our Renwick branch in Marlborough.  Marlborough Tractor Services provides a comprehensive range of sales, service and parts to a viticulture and agriculture customer base.

We are looking for a creative self-starter with the ability to grow and expand the viticulture side of our business.  This is a broad sales role offering plenty of scope and a competitive salary.  This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right person.

Reporting to the CEO, the successful applicant will be responsible primarily for building the viticulture business portfolio for the company.  This role will be hands on involving relationship management, developing and contributing to sales and marketing initiatives, and meeting sales targets. 

You will have viticulture industry experience, an understanding of the techniques being used within the industry and the equipment required.  Existing viticulture relationships will be an advantage.  You will have a proven sales track record and marketing experience with the ability to work autonomously, and learn quickly.  You will be passionate about the viticulture industry, tenacious, energetic and motivated.  For the right candidate this role offers excellent career development potential.  A competitive salary plus commission will be offered plus a vehicle.  Some weekend work is required.
